Colin and Elmarie Little are a very sociable couple. Their love for each other is infectious and their Lifestyle is adventurous and fun!
They met on the 9th of March 2013 after being introduced to each other by Elmarie’s physio who was also Colin’s golf partner. You just never know when love will strike…
A friend once told me that each couple has their own personality and their ‘Love Shoot’ should reflect this. When we discussed the location of Colin and Elm’s Love Shoot, I suggested a 50’s Film Set and they both agreed instantly.
We had so much fun!
Their wedding in South Africa was a heartwarming experience in the hot summer sun and most of the wedding details were prepared by the very talented bride, herself. It was an intimate wedding for which the details were exceptional and the ceremony emotional and beautiful!
Colin secretly asked Elm’s father for her hand in marriage prior to presenting Elmarie with the ring (any Father’s dream future son-in-law!)
The bride had her sisters and mother present when she was getting dressed. It was a beautiful experience:
The biggest concern which the bride had during their wedding day, was that it was going to rain… All she wanted was for her guests to enjoy the wedding (and most of the wedding was outside!). Luckily…. After a quick storm and heavy winds, it all cleared up and the weather was glorious!
Elmarie described her most emotional moments of the day as the moment she first saw her father, the moment she walked down the isle with her father, when both of them said their vows and also... the moment she had her first drink when the storm broke out!
Elmarie and Colin decided to not see each other until Elmarie was walking down the aisle. The moment... was emotion and beautiful...
Here are a few memories from the day:
They danced their first dance to Theuns Jordaan – 'By Jou' and Elmarie danced with her father to Elvis Blue – 'Blue Suede Shoes'.
The couple described their wedding as ‘the most fantastic day of their lives!’ and their advice to future brides and grooms is to not try and do the whole wedding yourself! They also said that future couples planning their weddings, should remember to make an effort not to forget about each other during all the craziness of the day.
Colin and Elmarie wanted to give thanks to everyone who contributed in making their day so special and a special thanks to Wayne and Lilanie, without whom this day would not be possible...
Here’s to the Little’s… may you for the rest of your lives together… have a lot! X
